Andrey is CTO and founder of Smartling. He joined Smartling after serving as VP of Technology at SpaFinder, where he developed and maintained the company’s e-commerce platform in multiple languages.
Previously, he held executive positions at RunTime Technologies and consulted for JPMorgan Chase, where he was responsible for e-commerce, digital asset management, data warehousing, and other large-scale projects.

Sergiy Aloshyn

Consul General of Ukraine in San Francisco.
Previously, he was the Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Deputy Head of the Consular Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
Sergiy Aloshyn headed a number of Ukrainian delegations, negotiating on consular and legal issues; participated in numerous international conferences and forums in the areas of migration.
Envoy Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the first class in 2009.


Yaroslav AZHNYUK
Yaroslav is a co-founder and CEO of Petcube, Inc., where he builds a community of pet lovers powered by a revolutionary pet camera.
Originally from Ukraine, he got a masters degree in computer science, build from scratch and sold an online marketing agency, organized a number of Internet-industry events and worked for 5 years in advertising and communication business for some of world’s largest brands.
Yaroslav is interested in how technology changes society and in its applications to institutional design.
Business interests: Internet of Things, E-Commerce, Online Education.

Nick was on the founding team of Cyphort, a next-generation anti-malware startup that is securing enterprises against cyber-attacks and is currently leading the malware and security research there. He came to Cyphort from Facebook where he was the chief malware expert and a security spokesperson for the company, keeping 1 billion active users safe and secure. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computing science and philosophy from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada and a GIAC Reverse Engineering Malware (GREM) certification, as well as several patents in computer security.
Nick has been an angel investor since 2012, investing into 2-3 seed stage companies per year, focusing on two areas: social and security.
Also Nick Bilogorskiy is the founder, President and CEO of Nova Ukraine, a San Francisco based non-profit charity organization, that focuses on helping Ukraine by fighting corruption, providing humanitarian aid and increasing awareness about Ukrainian culture in the US.


Eveline Buchatskiy is Director at Techstars Boston, the golden standard for tech start-up acceleration.  At Techstars, she is part of the selection committee that reviews hundreds of applications annually, with acceptance rate of 1% into the acceleration program.  During incubation, Eveline mentors outstanding entrepreneurs on how to scale their companies to global success stories. She also helps these companies raise additional venture capital for growth.
Prior to Techstars, Eveline was a founding Managing Director for Eastlabs accelerator based in Kiev.  In an effort to create a vibrant ecosystem, Eveline helped launch Ukraine’s first tech angel investment network, UAngel, and is currently a member of the Board.
During her time as CEO of publishing house Ekonomika, she has transformed its operation into a digitally focused newsroom.  Eveline was also CEO of cleantech start-up company, APCT.
Prior to her general management years, Eveline worked as a chemical engineer for one of the largest industrial gases company in the world, Praxair.
Eveline holds a Bachelors in Science degree in Chemical Engineering from University of California, Berkeley, a Masters in Science degree in Engineering from State University of New York, Buffalo, and an executive MBA from INSEAD.

Yuri Frayman

Yuri is Co-Founder and CEO at Zenedge. He was the first investor into Viewdle that was sold to Google. Yuri Frayman has a unique cross-disciplinary background. He has deep operating experience as a serial venture capital – backed entrepreneur across four very successful ventures.
As a serial entrepreneur, Yuri has helped lead four venture-backed companies to successful exits for his investors.

Vitaliy is founder of Augmented Pixels (TOP-20 companies in Augmented and Virtual reality).
His background is in software engineering and applied mathematics. He has over 5 years of experience as a software engineer, and 7 years as an IT entrepreneur.
Vitaliy also holds a BA in Business Administration.


Sergii is a lifelong technologist, passionate about the ways technology enriches human lives. He is a co-founder and CTO at Cogniance – global product development company with roots in Silicon Valley which helps innovators worldwide to co-create technology solutions and ecosystems.
Sergii’s career has developed from being a software engineer to a team leader and business technologist. He’s currently focused on exploring the newest technology frontiers and working with Cogniance customers to solve their product development challenges.
Sergii has graduated from National Technical University of Ukraine (KPI) and Kyiv-Mohyla Business School and is living at Mountain View, CA.


Boris is the CEO and founder of International Technology Group, the company behind TeamFusion.io – an enterprise community building and collaboration platform.
Prior to International Technology Group, Boris served as the Vice President of Strategic Technology for Serena Software, a leading Application Lifecycle and Change Management solutions provider, and was responsible for the company’s strategic vision, selection and engineering of solutions and for technology investments in the company, both organically and through acquisitions. Under Boris’ strategic technology leadership Serena grew from a $120 million to a $1.2 billion valuation company.
Additionally, Boris was one of the original founders of Eclipse Foundation, the largest Open Source community, where he also served on its board of directors.
Boris holds a MS degree in Physics and Applied Mathematics.


Oleksandr KROTENKO

Steven KUYAN

Steven KUYAN
Steven Kuyan is Managing Director of Incubators and Entrepreneurship at the NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering. He co-founded and is responsible for managing two of the three incubators located at Varick Street in Soho and DUMBO in Brooklyn. On campus, Steven develops strategic initiatives to accelerate innovation at the University through programs that catalyze student innovation.
The incubators at NYU were the first New York City sponsored incubators and developed the model for successful public-private partnerships. With the support of NYCEDC, the incubators helped develop and continue to sustain and support the entrepreneurial ecosystem in New York City. The unique incubation process has graduated 51 companies, nine graduated as acquisitions, with a combined valuation of $721M. Worth Magazine named the Incubators at NYU one of the top 10 startup spaces in the US.
Prior to the incubators, Steven founded and co-founded three ventures in the mobile, B2B logistics and retail industries. Steven is an adjunct professor of Graduate Entrepreneurship at the NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering. He is also the Founder, advisor and board member of the NYU’s Entrepreneurship and Innovation Association (EIA). EIA is the School of Engineering’s largest student organization with a mission of bridging the gap between academia and entrepreneurship to streamline student ventures. Steven holds a bachelor’s and a master’s from the NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering. He is a board member of the Business Incubator Association of New York State, Executive Alumni Council of NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering, and a non-profit teaching teens with Autism to code.

Ken Leaver

Ken is VP of Operations Product at Lazada, a Rocket Internet company that is the leading eCommerce company in SouthEast Asia with over $700M in venture funding from VC’s like Temasek, Tesco, and Summit Partners. Since joining Lazada in early 2014, Ken stays busy designing the in-house systems that manage the warehouse, logistics, supply chain, finance, and customer service.
Previously Ken was a Partner in Eastlabs, a Ukrainian accelerator funded by well-known businessman, Victor Pinchuk. Eastlabs invested in over 14 startups, several of which have performed quite well. Ken has also been involved in several startups himself, and was a co-founder/investor in uGift, which won the Best eCommerce Startup of 2013 in Ukraine.
From 2011-2013 Ken was CEO of Groupon Ukraine, where he led their growth from #3 to clear #1 player with over 100 employees. His experience also includes being a senior manager at Visa Inc, leading issuing products for South East Europe. And he was a consultant for seven years at a couple firms including the Boston Consulting Group. Originally from the US, Ken has a bachelors from Cornell University and an MBA from IESE Business School

Hrish Lotlikar

Hrish is currently advising several early stage technology startups and also serving in a business development capacity to help startups reach international clients and partners.
Hrish is currently a Channel Partner and served as the Senior Business Developer and Global Evangelist for Toptal, backed by Andreessen Horowitz, providing world class software engineers to companies globally.
He is a Managing Director at Startup Labs, a seed stage venture capital firm based in San Francisco. He is a founding Managing Partner of EastLabs, a seed stage venture capital accelerator based in Kyiv, Ukraine. He is also on the Supervisory Board of TechMinsk, a tech entrepreneurship school based in Minsk, Belarus and a Mentor at TechPeaks, an information technology accelerator based in Trento, Italy.
Previously, he was a Vice President at Spencer Trask Ventures, an early stage VC firm based in New York, an investment banker at HSBC Securities in New York, and at UBS Investment Bank in investment banking/M&A and in global business development at management consulting firm Aon Hewitt.
Hrish earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science/Pre-Med from Rice University, a Master of Public Health and MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the University of Illinois at Chicago.


With his current venture, Semantria, Oleg Rogynskyy is disrupting the text analytics market, by bringing complex NLP technology to the hands of non-technical users, in under 3 minutes, and for less than $1000. Semantria has been named the Dropbox of artificial intelligence by Forbes Magazine.
Oleg is also active in mentoring startups at both the FounderFuel Accelerator Program in Montreal and Stanford University’s StartX program in Palo Alto.
Prior to that Oleg had led sales & marketing at Lexalytics, a leader in sentiment analysis and deep learning (Boston, MA). Oleg joined Lexalytics when it had almost no sales infrastructure & process. In two years, Lexalytics boasted one of the most complex marketing automation processes on the planet and won (together with Semantria) a 2013 Oracle Markie Award for Best Marketing Integration. Lexalytics tripled in size and became heavily profitable. Prior to Lexalytics, Oleg was heading up demand generation at Nstein Technologies (Montreal, QC), having joined the company at 7M revenue, and leading it to a 36M exit.

Daniel Rumennik

Dan is currently VP of Strategy at Toptal and an active early stage startup investor and advisor. He started his career on Wall Street as an investment banker at JPMorgan and later as a management consultant at McKinsey & Co. After receiving his MBA, his passion for travel inspired him to found a CPG startup and then later help a large US retailer launch e-commerce sites in Latin America.
Dan earned a Bachelor of Science from Columbia University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.


Michael is a seasoned leader within the world of global management and innovation consulting, with years of experience designing and implementing solutions for early-stage, growth, and Fortune-size companies spanning a multitude of industry and solution domains.
Michael’s passion is for seeing great ideas make it into rapidly scaling, commercially successful ventures.


Boris is the President of PDFfiller responsible for daily operations of the growing company. 
Prior to his work at PDFfiller, Boris earned his Ph.D. in Bioinformatics and was subsequently a professor of Bioinformatics at Boston University and later moved to Harvard University to work on Systems Biology.
Boris now uses his scientific background to develop interdisciplinary approaches to advance PDFfiller’s core business. Boris is responsible for making sure that PDFfiller has a vibrant community of users through business development, demand generation and customer analytics.
Boris’ inspiration comes from hearing from hundreds of thousands of raving PDFfiller customers.

Yevgen Sysoyev

Yevgen Sysoyev is a managing partner of AVentures Capital fund that invests in global software technology companies that have R&D offices in Eastern Europe, particularly Ukraine. The fund typically invests at seed, Series A and B stages in variety of software technology segments, including enterprise, consumer, mobile, infrastructure, IoT and others. Currently, Yevgen sits on the board at Petcube, Jooble, DepositPhotos and investor to other startups such as nuPSYS, Augmented Pixels and VOX.
Yevgen holds an MBA degree with distinction from INSEAD (Singapore and France) and bachelor degree in mathematics.
Yevgen lived in 5 countries and currently spends most of his time in Ukraine and United States.

Viktoriya Tikipko

Viktoriya Tigipko is Managing Director of TA Ventures, a venture capital fund, investing in innovative seed and early-stage consumer Internet and mobile tech companies targeting the USA, Europe (Germany, UK and Nordic countries), Israel, and emerging markets like Southeast Asia and India. As of October 2015, TA Ventures has 80+ companies in its portfolio and has achieved 17 exits. TA Ventures portfolio includes such companies as AdoreMe, Auctionata, Azimo, Beepi, Dreamlines, FinanzCheck, NU3, SumUp, and others. TA Ventures is focusing on online marketplaces, fintech, digital health, Big Data, and cloud computing.
Since 2010, Viktoriya has been the Organizer of the “IDCEE. Internet technologies and Innovations” conference, one of the top European gatherings on Internet technologies. The conference served as a platform for 2,500+ opinion leaders, aspiring Internet entrepreneurs, VCs, angel investors, innovators, and other IT and VC industry experts from the CEE region and beyond.
In 2013, Viktoriya initiated Code Club Ukraine, a nation-wide volunteer-led initiative for teaching children to code, which is a local branch of Code Club World.
Viktoriya is also the President of the Odessa International Film Festival, which was established in 2010 with a mission to bring high quality films from all over the world to the Ukrainian audience as well as to encourage the development of film industry in Ukraine and to restore its cinematic tradition. The festival audience is over 120,000 attendees annually.


Vlad Voskresensky is one of the original founders of InvisibleCRM. Previously, he was also co-founder and CEO of Afortio, an offshore software development company, acquired by EPAM (NYSE: EPAM).
Voskresensky is experienced in executive management, new business development and is responsible for the company’s overall strategy and key management director.
With a strong technology background and superior analytical skillset, Voskresensky is positioned as the ideal technology leader for invisibleCRM. Voskresensky has two Masters Degrees with honors in International Business Relations and Informatics.


Eugene is an IT entrepreneur and technology enthusiast with 10 years experience in software engineering. Eugene has worked successfully in the US and Ukraine, both as a hands-on software architect and as a liaison with business stakeholders.
He sincerely believes that entrepreneurship is the only reliable way to improve the world. His love of entrepreneurship and his homeland have led him to his mission – for Ukrainian startups receive global recognition.

He is one of the founders and facilitators of the UA50 project. Vadim is the Founder and current CEO and CTO of PDFFiller.com. He leads the vision and development of products and services that allow individuals, small business and enterprise to streamline processes and get ever closer to the paperless office.
Vadim is a serial entrepreneur and has been particularly successful in guiding organizations through growth to acquisition. He was Chief Technology Officer at FurnitureFan.com and owner at ClearWeb.com.
Vadim was also the Founder, President and CEO of CLEAR Software, Inc. which was sold to SPSS, Inc. and is now part of IBM’s offering. Vadim also serves as a board member of SMTP.com (SMTP) and is a frequent speaker at industry events where his knowledge of software design and development, strategic technology evaluation and technology innovation are highly regarded.

Yuliya is a journalist with 13 years of experience. Now she works as a special correspondent of “Obozrevatel” website in USA and focusing on covering stories of successful IT-businesses established by Ukrainians in America.
Previously, she was an Editor-in-Chief of “Obozrevatel” website in Kiev and the Head of Department of Information Policy & Media Relations of the State Committee of Ukraine for Regulatory Policy & Entrepreneurship. Prior to that, she worked as an Associate professor of journalism in Kiev Slavonic University and a correspondent and host of the evening news at “Tonis” TV channel.
She earned a PhD at Kiev National Taras Shevchenko University.


Regina Makhotina
Regina is an Executive Director at UAngel, the first Ukrainian Business Angel Network, where she deals with deal sourcing and international partnership development for the sake of cross-border seed investment, as well as in-house and international syndication.
Previously, Regina held a position of Associate at Kyiv-based seed startup accelerator Eastlabs, aiming at local startup eco-system advancement by organizing international events (Hack4Good), developing investor-startup relations, cooperation with market players and growth of accelerator portfolio companies.

Andrew Tsintsiruk
Andrew is Managing Partner and a co-founder of Innovizo, a data science and technology consulting company based in Washington DC. His management consulting and business development experience spans across several sectors, including international trade, finance, data analytics and technology strategy. Andrew previously worked as Managing Director at Global Trade Strategies LLC where has advised private- and public-sector clients, ranging in size from Fortune 500 companies to entrepreneurial startups, on business strategy, international trade and commerce. Andrew also served as Director of Government Relations at the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC), where he developed programs and policy relating to U.S. trade and investment in Ukraine and Eastern European emerging markets. Prior to joining USUBC, he worked as GIS research analyst on data visualization and data mining projects. He advised numerous clients on how to interpret complex data, gather business insights and understand relationships, patterns, and trends. He graduated with MA in Political Philosophy and studied in the MA program of International Trade and Commerce at Boston College.
